DGOTC Member Awards

Each year, at the Awards Banquet, a DGOTC member is awarded the Member of the Year sward. In the months preceding the banquet, all members are asked to submit nominations for this honor, along with their reasons for making this nomination. The person receiving the most nominations is selected.

Our Good Sportsmanship Award derived from the Gaines Good Sportsmanship awards and was given under their auspices until 1995. When Gaines discontinued the program, DGOTC took it up on our own. The Good Sportsman is selected each year by the person who won it the previous year.

Both awards recognize service and attitude that are a credit to the club and the sports we participate in with our canine partners.
