Lovely Lucia, Light of my life.
First Iggy pup, what a ping-pong ball!
You greeted every day bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.
You brought me a clicker when you wanted to work.
You kept your promises to me.
You always gave me your best.
You used to be too busy--jumping, running, and investigating--to slow down enough to cuddle, except at day's end.
Lately, cuddling was your greatest pleasure.
Now you chase squirrels and bunnies and birds across the rainbow bridge.
Chi, Life Force, You.
Fare thee well, Lucia.

Lucia was my first IG puppy and my first multi-venue performance dog. We learned so much together. The ladies and I grieve deeply for the loss of our little spitfire, Chi.
