Annual Events…

DGOTC holds a UKC obedience trial during the winter and UKC agility trials every June, in addition to a show-and-go in the fall.

Members also participate in an awards banquet during the winter and a summer picnic.

DGOTC also conducts workshops and seminars for members only and occasionally opens them up to other dog enthusiasts.

All events are organized and staffed by club members who generously volunteer their time. Here’s how you can become a member!

Sports Injury Seminar presented by Dr. Matthew Nicholson: At our DGOTC meeting, October 4, 2006, Dr. Nicholson, with the Veterinary
Surgical Center, will cover common canine sports injuries and will
also answer any questions the audience may have during or after his
presentation. Because Dr. Nicholson will be speaking, the October
meeting time and site has been changed to 7:00 pm (to be followed by
the regular meeting) and will be held at Ida Lee Recreation Center
in Leesburg VA. Please check www.idalee.org for directions. Ida
Lee is located just behind Rust Library which is across the street
from the VFW hall where we’ve held our award banquets. Although you
can’t drive to Ida Lee from the Rust Library, it is a short walk
across the grass.
